Salvador Morales

Teaches at Borough of Manhattan Community College

Salvador Morales is an optimistic, friendly, honest and caring person. Really enjoys teaching and making a difference in student’s future. Salvador enjoys technology and has been working with it for over 20 years.

Salvador’s first IT job was selling IBM and Apple computers. His first teaching job was at a trade school teaching Electronics. He attended Devry University back in the late eighties when it was Devry Institute of Technology.

He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics Engineering on October 1986.

He got his Cisco training at the following colleges Alfred University, Moraine Valley Community College, and Montgomery County Community College. Salvador has been teaching Cisco Courses for the past 15 years through the Cisco Academy. He has taught Cisco at Queens College, NBC Universal, Farmingdale State College and at BMCC in the near future.

Salvador’s working history is as follows:
Salvador currently works at NYU as a Senior Network Engineer. He supports a wireless and wired network in New York, Abu Dhabi, Italy, Germany, France, and China.

Salvador previously worked at SUNY Downstate Medical Center as a Manager of Wireless Network/Sr. Network Engineer.
Salvador worked at Queens College as a Senior Network Engineer and also as a Helpdesk Manager.

Salvador worked at Dow Jones for about 5 Years and got promoted three times. His final title at Dow Jones was Network Tech II supporting a building at 1155 Avenue of the Americas.

Salvador also has five years experience in Point of Sale systems. He got this experience while working for E.C.R Business Equipment.
Salvador’s Cisco students currently work for Verizon, Cable, Local 3, 911 Memorial Museum, CUNY Colleges, Health Care Companies and many more.
