Alanna is a native New Yorker, born in the city and raised in Westchester County. After receiving her Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics, she moved back to NYC, where she worked in tech and operations for several startups for a decade. In 2019, Alanna decided to leave her Director of Operations role at a digital agency to pursue her love of jewelry, ancient metalsmithing techniques and healing arts.
