Description
What you'll learn in this kids robotics class:
In our POWERPLAY challenge, teams will compete in an energy-driven game and test the limits of performance, efficiency, and endurance as they power their innovations forward with cool robotic designs. Students are encouraged to create team identities and be as creative as possible with their robots. From the machines that move us to the food that sustains us to the wireless technologies that connect us, energy plays an essential role in keeping our world running.
Our young engineers will design, build, program, and engage in thrilling robotics competitions that maximize how energy is used to power the world. Guided by adult coaches and mentors, students develop STEM skills and practice engineering principles, while realizing the value of innovation and teamwork.
Note:
Confirmation, directions, and guidelines will be emailed upon receipt of payment. All students are required to have a current medical form on file prior to the first day of camp.
Refund Policy
- If the student must cancel his/her registration, a refund less 5% cancellation fee will be issued if CourseHorse is notified of cancellation at least 4 business days prior to the start of class.
- Any cancellations less than 4 business days prior to class start will forfeit a refund.
All courses and workshops are subject to cancellation by the school if the minimum enrollment is not attained. In the event of cancellation by the school, students will be notified and refunds will be issued in full in the same form of payment made by the student at registration.
