Steve Wayman is a Program Manager with a strong technical background whose strengths include providing focus, execution, team building, getting to the core of issues and implementing long lasting solutions. He has progressed from Mechanical Engineer to Systems Engineer, Deputy Program Manager, Program Manager and Director of Facility and Real Estate, starting at United Technologies, then AT&T Bell Labs, Lucent Technologies and General Dynamics. He understands not only the principles of the Project Management and Program Management knowledge areas but the reason why they are helpful.

Steve was called to leverage his knowledge and experience to improve program execution and increase the business acumen of Program Managers when he was assigned to the role of Program Management Excellence. In that role he tailored the Program/Project Management disciplines to improve the execution of various sizes and types of programs. He supported Program Managers during corporate audits. He organized and led seminars and workshops including Agile Software Development for Program Managers, Business Primer for Program Managers, the Program Managers Role in Capture Management and Management Reserve and Rates. He led the development of Computer Based Training for Risk Management and Program Reviews.

He obtained the PMP accreditation in 2004 and the PgMP accreditation in 2015.
