This class will review the four indicative past tenses, the present subjunctive and the various uses of the imperfect subjunctive through the viewing of short films and class discussion. You will also learn how to distinguish between por and para and use si clauses to talk about real, and hypothetical conditions. Book: Spanish Demystified

Designed for students with a basic knowledge of the language, this course focuses on the development of fluency. Students will expand their ability to carry out simple conversations on a limited range of topics. Previous grammar concepts are reviewed and more complicated structures are introduced in context. Upon completion of the course students will be able to initiate and maintain predictable conversations and understand the main points of clear standard input on familiar matters.

This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.
Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.

Students may withdraw from the course at any time. The ICLS Group Evening Class Refund Policy is in the table below.

Absence Policy:
Group Classes continue as scheduled even if a student is absent from the class. An individual student who does not attend a class will not be able to make up the missed hours. Please note that each instructional hour is 50 minutes in length.
Cancellation Policy:
ICLS reserves the right to cancel a class due to a lack of enrollment. In the case of lack of enrollment the tuition, materials (if purchased), and registration fee will be refunded. Group Classes continue as scheduled even if a student is absent from the class. An individual student who does not attend a class will not be able to make up the missed hours even if 24-hour notice is given. Please note that each instructional hour is 50 minutes in length.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
In the event that an instructor or the school needs to cancel at the last minute, students will receive a refund less a 5% non-refundable registration fee.
