Jim Sanderson (www.sandersonfolio.com) fell in love with photography while living in Europe. That passion fueled by travel found him working at Magnum Photos in New York as an assistant to Burt Glinn. His career has focused on creating images that protect our environment and cultural resources; in doing so he has worked nation-wide with water scientists, archeologists, historians and geologists on hundreds of assignments. Jim is known for his versatility in shooting a wide variety of formats for assignments using crazy rigging and multiple formats to document historic structures for the Library of Congress HAER collections to shooting Rhinos for Eye Journey photo blogging adventures in Africa. He currently resides in Santa Monica, California.
