Dr. Nikolai Chapochnikov is a neuroscience researcher at the Flatiron Institute in New York City who is passionate about sharing his insights and practices with others to support their journey of growth and healing. He obtained a Doctorate in neuroscience at the University of Göttingen in Germany and a Masters in physics at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology.

He started his inner journey in 2012 with a retreat in Plum Village in France, a monastery in the tradition of Thich Nhat Hanh and has since been regularly attending meditation retreats in different traditions and sharing his meditation practice with various communities. The values he strives to live by are awareness, acceptance, and responsibility.
