Robert Llewellyn, professional photographer, has developed innovative digital camera technology to overcome the limitations of macrophotography. In his "image stacking" technique, a computer- controlled camera photographs in layers of focus, and uses high-tech software to stitch up to 100 images into a single photo.

Based in Virginia, Llewellyn has had his work featured in major art exhibitions, and more than 30 books. Seeing Trees and Seeing Flowers both earned glowing reviews; this year Timber Press released the third book of the series, Seeing Seeds.
