Christine Sloan Stoddard

Christine Sloan Stoddard is a Salvadoran-American artist and writer and the current artist-in-residence at Lenox Hill Neighborhood House. She has presented her work at the New York Transit Museum, the Queens Museum, the Poe Museum, FiveMyles Gallery, and beyond. She is the founding editor of Quail Bell Magazine and the author of several books, including Water for the Cactus Woman (Spuyten Duyvil Press). Most recently, her work was profiled in Ms. Magazine (October 2018) and Brooklyn Poets (September 2018). Previously, Stoddard has been the artist-in-residence at the Brooklyn Public Library's Eastern Parkway Branch, Annmarie Sculpture Garden, and Woodlawn Estate.
