Red Inside offers hands-on cooking classes. Experience our cooking classes in our state of the art kitchen studio and learn valuable life skills. We offer a warm and inviting environment to inspire everyone to cook. From cooking lessons to Private dining, Catering and Consulting Services.
We take two things: Food and Fun and mix them together to create a dish from scratch, created by you! You will be given step-by-step instructions mixed with some of your own creative touches to prep a healthy dish that you can take home and cook it or freeze it for another day.
Whether you are an amateur cook, food enthusiast or a full-blown smallholder, there's a course to inspire you. We provide cooking lessons to accommodate all group levels. Lessons are conducted on a one-on-one basis or in a group environment. This is an informal setting where you get to unleash, learn, share, socialize and simply have fun in a stress free environment. At the end of the session, each client will leave with a better understanding about food, cooking techniques, knife skills and other kitchen tips.
I did love The Pasta 101Class! This was my 4th class I took through CoarseHorse and it’s really the best! Ivan is OTC my 3rd class w him. I brought my husband this time Generally it’s a girls day out but he heard such positive things he wanted to give it a try. Fantastic! Really had a great time and the food was delicious.. My favorite spot is The Village Kitchen so quaint and soooo Clean!!
Great experience with great company. The instructors were so friendly and accommodating, and I learned quite a bit. Would recommend to anyone in NYC looking to do something a little different, while enjoying delicious food.
The instructors were so knowledgable and helpful. This was a very interactive and hands on class. I wanted away with a better understanding of the Italian culture and food. I am so excited to make the items I learned in class at home. Can't wait to take another class with Ivan again! Highly highly recommend for anyone interested in learning how to make food from scratch.
I really loved the class, evthg. from the quaint, homey set-up to the technique of cooking. Ivan was a great instructor and explained each step of the cooking procedures. We made vichyssoise, coq au vin, and creme brûlée. We also had a great and very social group, so that made for an even more enjoyable cooking experience.
In this class all we did was cut the vegetables. We did not cook the meat. We did not get alerted how long the meat should cook. How long the soup should cook. And not how the creme brûlée has been sugared and torched. We pretty much paid 140$ for a byob class where we cut 1 onion, 1 potato, 1 piece of celery and 1 tiny carrot. They promised to send the recipe but have not. Highly disappointed. My mother and father can’t believe how much I spent on their gift.
Great fun. Learned lots. Want more!!!
The instructor, Ivan was fantastic. He was 100% truly committed to teaching you ever aspect of pasta making, including knife skills. He is great and would recommend the class.
The class is in a converted apartment which made it feel homey. Instructors were helpful and nice. I took my 18 year old nieces and they loved it.
Overall the class was great. Your website advertised "wine on the house" which was not the case so that was frustrating.
