What you'll learn in this music production course:

Have you ever wanted to record your own music? Learn the basics of Ableton! Recording audio will play a major role outside of the classroom and will be taught in depth in the classroom; why buy all of those expensive sound libraries when you can make it all yourself?

After going through the program, all students will have their own portfolio of music to present at a recital / listening party and have transferable skills if they choose to try more advanced pieces of software and hardware.

Class Requirements:

Students will need their own laptop (or desktop), MIDI keyboard and headphones, as well as their own licensed copy of Ableton Live Intro. We can point you in the right direction for all of this.

We also highly recommend taking the Beginner Keyboard class first if you do not know your keyboard basics.

Please arrive ten minutes early if possible.

Refund Policy

There are no make ups or refunds for missed group classes for any reason. Your teacher will, however, email you with a synopsis of what was covered the week you missed if you ask!

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
