Went to first class only - I was expecting meditation and writing exercises to unlock the creative juices / did one meditation - some rude, late person blasted her way in door during it - not good. We spent about an hour reading a short story out loud, then discussed it; also, in my opinion, wasted time taking about what we're writing, why we took the class, what we're reading. Coming from Burbank to Santa Monica in rush hour traffic was bad and class was not worth my time and energy. I did not get what I thought I was signing up for- I would have been delighted with more meditation, followed by writing exercises. The other people seemed to really enjoy it but I was not for me!
