William Thompson

William Taft Thompson was born on April 10,1984 in Berkeley, California. He started drawing and painting before he knew how to pick up a basketball. At the age of six years old he entered and won contests for Toys'R 'US stores in Oakland, California.  Toys'R' US published pieces of his art for two years in 1989 and 1990. All through high school, art was fun, hobby and a stress reliever. He's studied at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, California. During college he worked on traditional artwork for small business and other freelance work. Two years after graduating he landed a graphic artist position at DC Comics. Worked on different comic book covers and designs for the company and still currently working on new comics to come.
