You've seen these gorgeous breads scrolling by on Instagram, and now you can unleash your own inner artist with BLVD's Bread Guru, Chef JJ Levenstein. Did we mention they are also delicious?
This is a two part workshop. In the morning, we’ll make our dough and set it to rise. When we meet in the afternoon, it’ll be time to decorate our focaccia and prep for baking!
This class will be meeting on Zoom. We'll send you an email with the class handout with the recipes, ingredients and equipment, as well as the Zoom meeting link, 48 hours ahead of time.
Classes are non-refundable, but you may request a transfer into a different class, provided you give us at least 3 business days notice.
We record all classes, so if you do wind up missing a scheduled session, we will be sure to get you the video and recipe.
Classes are subject to rescheduling or cancellation, based on enrollment levels or conflicts that arise for our instructors. If your class is impacted, we will be in touch right away to provide you with a refund or a transfer into a different class.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
Students found the Bread Bakers: Artistic Focaccia Workshop to be engaging and enjoyable, expressing satisfaction with the course's structure and teaching methods. They appreciated the class being divided into two sections, which made the process of preparing the bread easily understandable. Although they admitted the class was a bit challenging, they were delighted at the opportunity to acquire a new skill. Students also expressed confidence in improving their bread-making skills with practiced application. The flavor and texture of the focaccia were highlighted, indicating successful teaching of quality bread making. Additionally, the class allowed individuals to express their creativity, further enhancing the fun aspect of the class. 1) "Easy to follow! Super fun- love how it was split into two sections while we prepared the bread." 2) "Challenging but learned a new skill which is always fun. I will have to practice to get it perfect next time I make the focaccia!" 3) "I got to let my inner artist shine. The focaccia was light, airy, and flavorful!"
