What you'll learn in this clothing class:
Have you noticed nearly everything people are wearing is made of stretchy fabric? From leggings to joggers to t-shirts and sweatshirts to your socks and underthings, they've all got some stretch to them which that means you need to sew them in a very specific way. (Did you know you can't sew stretchy fabrics with a straight stitch!?
Learn to make your favorite t-shirt and more in this class! Learn to sew and work with fabrics that stretch!
All patterns, fabrics, and supplies are included. Just show up and sew!
In this 6-week class you'll cut & sew another garment from stretchy fabric each week:
- Sweatshirt
- T-shirt
- Dress
- Skirt
- Blouse
- Socks
You'll learn what makes sewing stretchy fabrics different, how to cut out stretchy fabric, how to sew stretchy fabric on a serger and sewing machine, how to hem stretchy fabric and how to work with stretchy fabric for easier sewing.
By the end of this class you will be addicted to sewing stretchy fabrics because it is soooooo fun and easy!
Our classes are limited in size (and frequently sell out!). Each person has a station with a sewing machine reserved for them, so no refunds are offered on classes. If you miss a class, video tutorials will be provided that you can work through in your own time. If you know you'll be missing a class in advance, contact us and we'll see if there's a seat available in a nearby session you could attend.
Refund Policy
Cancellations made at least 48 hours in advance of the class will be honored with a 95% refund. Students who cancel less than 48 hours prior to the start time of the class will receive a credit towards a future class.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
