Back when we were pastry chefs at some of the nicest restaurants and caterers in Manhattan, we hated that when we came back to our working class neighborhood in Brooklyn, all the desserts were, well, crap. Bakeries making cakes from mixes full of preservatives, frosting them with stuff out of an industrial tub. Pastries covered in whipped cream that came from a "just add water" powder. Frozen cheesecakes covered with that weird neon red "strawberry" glop (we know what it is. You don't want to know).
We made it our mission to bring the quality of pastry we were making for the rich and famous to working-class people like us. Since we started in 2008, we've gained a global cult following. Our cakes, cupcakes, brownies and whoopie pies are routinely cited as some of the best in the country. In 2013, after the release of our first cookbook, we relocated our business to the Bay Ridge section of Brooklyn we both grew up in, and vastly expanded our product line. We are now receiving acclaim for our pies, cookies, and so much more.
Even though our commissary is in Brooklyn, we deliver all over New York City to your home or office, and wholesale to businesses throughout the city (and even out in Long Island!).
